Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Okay, I know that we are a little late, but it has been a little hectic around here as of late. We couldn't pass up putting these awesome pictures up though. Maleah was really excited to get her hands deep into pumpkin guts as we carved the pumpkin she got from Grandpa Blake's Pumpkin Patch. After cleaning it out, Cassie and Maleah decided to take a nap, and I got a little carried away I guess with carving the witch because it took me an hour and a half. Maleah was the cutest little duck in the whole world. We had fun celebrating birthdays for the next couple of days with Grandpa and Amelia....Now for our big news, tucked away in the middle of this blog. We are moving to HONG KONG!...again! We are really excited to take our little girl over there and let her experience a different country and culture. We are leaving January 25th. Once again we are off on another adventure filled with fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALEAH!

We were up at 6 ready to celebrate!
Early presents...The Best!!!
"I'm so EXCITED!!"
The beautiful cake Cassie made! (With a tiny help from the neighbor)

ONE!

Being one is an important time in a young toddler's life. It's a time to stand and take steps towards a full and promising future. Maleah went sprinting into it! She had an awesome birthday! It really was a lot of fun. Of course we had to start the celebration a little early the weekend before her birthday in Bear Lake. We had fun running around and doing the 'Hokey-Pokey' with Elmo at Grandma Nanna's and Grandpa Blake's. By time Thursday rolled around everyone was so excited. Cassie and I were just waiting for Maleah to wake up so we could sing to her. We had a fun party with a few friends at the house. Maleah loved all of her presents! (Thanks everyone for making it great!) The best part was watching her devour the cake! Oh wow! Talk about a sugar rush. You'd think she had never had sugar before...oh that's right, she hadn't. It was heaven for her. As you can tell she couldn't get enough in her mouth! We are so thankful to have this beautiful angel in our lives. It has been the best year, and we look forward to many, many more. With milestones at this age, (like 6 months, 1 year) it means shots, so the next morning that's where she was. It isn't a fun experience. Maleah is champ though, she was back on her feet in no time. I decided that after shots would be a perfect time for my present to her. We headed to the post-office and applied for Maleah's passport. Maleah would have loved a box or some wrapping paper, it's more exciting, but for Cassie and I we were super excited to know that in a few weeks Maleah will have her passport to the world. Soon she will be ready to go on world-wide adventures with her mom and dad! WooHoo!
It all starts with a little and then...

...It's all over the place!

Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles

For only being 11 months old Maleah is surely growing up fast! She is so much fun to watch. In the last month she has taken off! (Quite literally) She is walking everywhere and has finally learned to stand up by herself instead of climbing up something first before she starts walking. If you want your heart melted just listen to her call Hada (the dog). Every morning, or when Maleah is out running on the grass with Hada, she walks around patting her chest yelling "HADA, HADA, HADA!" She used to pat her leg, but found it easier to pat her chest when she is walking. Maleah also loves bubbles! She could sit for hours on the front lawn watching the bubbles. "BUbbles, BUbbles!" Her vocabulary grows everyday it seems. She says, Mom, Dad, bubbles, Hada, Jesse, (the other dog), Grandpa, sometimes Grandma, among others. (She is good with two syllables.) We love our little angel!

Missin' My Girls

It has been quite the summer down here in Dallas! We have had some great memories and many good times. Right now, I am missing my girls. Cassie and Maleah headed back to Cedar City, while our office is traveling for the last couple of weeks. I have spent the last two months living in Hotels and selling far from my family. I just want Cassie and Maleah to know that I love you and I can't wait to get home and spend the rest of the year with my girls!!!

This is the first fat lip
She loves her dad!

This is the second fat lip

So Maleah is finally to the point where she takes steps( 3-4 at most) and stands on her own..... but she falls even more!! This is the worst stage for me as her mother cuz she falls and gets hurt no matter how much i child proof or how close i watch her!! These two pic that are up above happen like 4 days apart! Blood was involved and that about did me in!! I know how to clam her when she crys, and i can handel it very well, but as soon as i see blood i am the one that needs to be calmed!! Every one says she will get the hang of it but sometimes i really wonder!

Baby Proof

Who puts blinds this low.....they're such a fun toy

Two outlets at once

Thank goodness for outlet covers

She likes this cuz she can see herself in the glass
I just get nervous the oven will be on one of these times.

The computer is not safe anywhere

Mom: "Don't touch those Maleah"

You can't really tell but she touched the wall next
to the plug

Her favorite thing is to take everything out of any drawer

Maleah: "I think I can make it to that chair"

So there is always the stage in a child's life where they fall (alot) and right now maleah is at that stage!! She pulls herself up on everything, and on the most dangerous things, tries to let go and stand on her own!! This Apt was really not built for childeren. Everything is right where she can reach it and things are super dangerous when she falls. The best is the outlets..... I do not know what makes a baby want to put things in them but she tries to put all of her toys in there....luckily none of her toys fit!! So now the house has been as child proofed as possible but there are still the things that I cant do anything about.....

Maleah loves Finding Nemo

This is maleahs buddy skyler at childerens place

Happy 4th everyone!! So this 4th was a blast here in Dallas! It was so hot we almost died but it was fun!! James was working all week in a place called Longview which is a little over 2 hours away so they just go and stay 2 nights, came home for one and then stay 2 nights again. So we have been missing our daddy!! Well on the 4th they got to come home at six and we got to spend the whole night together!!! James' manager also got everyone tickets to the Rangers game, and not just tickets, all you can eat tickets, which means we could eat whatever we wanted and part of are area was in an Air-conditioned box in case we got too hot!! It was a blast and Maleah loved watching all the ppl! here are some pics of our fun 4th!!

A New Post

So it has been a little while since I have written and I have got some complaints so just know that I will try my best to be better, but no promises!! So life here has been a little crazy l8ly but we have been very blessed!! We live in a pretty safe area here in Dallas or so we thought...so far a guy has had a car stolen, a friend mugged, James has been shot at, and last Sunday 2 of the APX apartments were broken into and had all their electronics stolen. Not to mention the guys kicked in the door and smashed the alarm system so they had to get that fixed! OK OK so it is not near as bad as it sounds and when James got shot at he was not in our neighborhood he was out selling and it was and accident!! The guy was trying to un-jam his 22 by repeatedly pulling the trigger in random directions and when it unjammed it shot a bullet right passed James who both heard and felt the wind!! We are so blessed he was not hit and they are now out of that area! We really do like it here we have just been a little on edge lately! But this too shall pass and soon we will be back where ever it is we go!! We have awesome friends here and it is a blast!! Maleah is getting so big(she turned 8 month yesterday) and is supper funny!! Right now she is a little reckless and falls all the time!! She pulls herself up on everything including the wall and then tries to let go! She will learn to walk, just not too soon I hope. She is already into everything!! Well here are some pics!! Oh and P.S. for those of you who don't know the second pic is one of Maleah with my brother and his new fiancee!! He was able to be home for a little and so we flew home and saw them!! It was the best!!

Daddys little girl

Big smiles

So we are having a blast down here is Dallas! The down side is James only gets to see Maleah in the morning cuz she is usually asleep when he gets home!! But that has not changed the fact that she is a total daddy's girl! She wants me when she is hungry or tired but if she is ready to play it better be dad!! She is getting so big and is now a crawler!! Super crazy how fast they grow up! i love every stage, but this one keeps me on my toes! She is crazy fast and just when i think i have put everything away she finds something i forget! She loves the pool and playing with the older kids!! Sense we have been here she has gotten a black eye a couple of scratches a a few other bumps but she always bounces back quick! James is doing good! It is so fun for me when he comes home and i get to hear about all of the ppl he got to meet that day! He get some winners! Maleah and i are going to go home for a couple of days next week to see Colby and his new fiancee! We will miss James alot but it will be fun to see the fam! Well here are some pics of Maleah and her daddy!

Salvador Brail

So we really wanted Gentry to get his mission call before we had to leave so to James and I could be there to watch him open it!! Well he got it the day before we left. Gentry Julian has been called to serve in Salvador Brazil!! He will enter the MTC In Brazil on the 12th of Aug!! Your awesome Gentry!! As for our new lives here in Dallas this is week 2 and things are going great!! Our house is amazing and Maleah and i have so much fun just hanging out all day at the pool! We have been to the Dallas zoo to which was supper fun and had some crazy looking animals!! I am not sure what animal this is a pic of but it was supper ugly! James is having fun to. He has only gotten sunburn once and that was enough to remind him he needs sunscreen every day!! Sorry so short but i have a tired baby!!

6 months and on her way

It is hard to believe that Maleah is 6 months old. She is ready to move and groove! She is doing great at getting into crawling position, but is still doing the face shuffle after that. She is definately our baby girl because she has a hard time sitting still. When she sees other kids running around she gets so excited and she can't wait to join them. Since we can't sit still either, we are on our way this week to Dallas Texas for the summer. We are really excited. It is going to be a great adventure.
