ONE!

Being one is an important time in a young toddler's life. It's a time to stand and take steps towards a full and promising future. Maleah went sprinting into it! She had an awesome birthday! It really was a lot of fun. Of course we had to start the celebration a little early the weekend before her birthday in Bear Lake. We had fun running around and doing the 'Hokey-Pokey' with Elmo at Grandma Nanna's and Grandpa Blake's. By time Thursday rolled around everyone was so excited. Cassie and I were just waiting for Maleah to wake up so we could sing to her. We had a fun party with a few friends at the house. Maleah loved all of her presents! (Thanks everyone for making it great!) The best part was watching her devour the cake! Oh wow! Talk about a sugar rush. You'd think she had never had sugar before...oh that's right, she hadn't. It was heaven for her. As you can tell she couldn't get enough in her mouth! We are so thankful to have this beautiful angel in our lives. It has been the best year, and we look forward to many, many more. With milestones at this age, (like 6 months, 1 year) it means shots, so the next morning that's where she was. It isn't a fun experience. Maleah is champ though, she was back on her feet in no time. I decided that after shots would be a perfect time for my present to her. We headed to the post-office and applied for Maleah's passport. Maleah would have loved a box or some wrapping paper, it's more exciting, but for Cassie and I we were super excited to know that in a few weeks Maleah will have her passport to the world. Soon she will be ready to go on world-wide adventures with her mom and dad! WooHoo!
It all starts with a little and then...

...It's all over the place!
